The discussion forum allows registered members to discuss a range of topics initiated by the UKNSCN Steering Committee and Secretariat.
The forum is open to anyone with an interest in the issues surrounding stem cell research, its sub-disciplines, and its application in regenerative medicine. Contributions to the forum are not moderated in advance of posting, but may be subject to removal afterwards under content standards legislation. By registering to use the forum, you agree to abide by our terms of use.
Joining the UKNSCN Forum
Joining the UKNSCN Forum enables you to do the following:
- Post contributions to any of the forum’s discussions, several of which may be running simultaneously;
- Vote in polls.
Once you complete our short online registration form, your membership will be activated by the forum moderator based within the UKNSCN secretariat. You will then be designated a “New Member” and will be able to contribute to any discussion.
Guests
You can access the forum as a “guest” without registering, in order to follow a particular discussion as it evolves, but you will not be able to post contributions yourself.
Important Notice
New members are accepted into the UKNSCN Forum on the understanding that they undertake to respect the opinions of others where those opinions differ from their own, and that they do not attempt to post inappropriate material which is likely to contravene current legislation on content standards. The forum moderator reserves the right to suspend individual membership either temporarily or permanently, and will investigate complaints from third parties about specific contributions to the forum.

Opening debate
To launch the forum, the first topic concerns your views as to the activities you consider that the UKNSCN should be engaged in on behalf of the wider UK stem cell research community. Suggestions are welcomed that align with the UKNSCN’s 5 top-level objectives, which you will find listed in the discussion starter.
