The UKNSCN's operations are supervised by a Management Board of 8 members, comprising the four current sponsors of the Network plus other Government Bodies as follows:

Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC)
Technology Strategy Board (TSB)
Department of Health (DH)
Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS)
The Management Board meets four times per year and its meetings are attended by the both the UKNSCN's Executive Director and the Chair of the Advisory Committee.
