Information
The UKNSCN Steering Committee is pleased to announce that online registration is now open for its inaugural scientific conference through the website link above. Up to 400 delegate places are available (including overnight accommodation), and registration is open to researchers outside the UK. The conference includes provision for exhibitors and poster presentations, further details for which are available through the registration website.

The UKNSCN annual scientific conference is a celebration of the latest and best in UK stem cell science. The inaugural conference programme largely features up-and-coming UK researchers, together with the inaugural Dame Anne McLaren Memorial Lecture which will be delivered by Professor Christine Mummery from the Hubrecht Laboratory in The Netherlands. This lecture will be delivered each year by a leading female stem cell researcher. The programme also features an open discussion session at which the current and future work of the UKNSCN will be debated and where delegates will have the opportunity to question members of the UKNSCN Steering Committee. The UKNSCN intends to rotate its annual meeting around UK cities hosting recognised centres-of-excellence in stem cell research. It is likely that the 2009 meeting will be held in London.
