Information
The UKNSCN is delighted to announce that its third annual scientific conference will take place in Nottingham from 12-14 July 2010, and that online registration is now open at the link above. For the third year running, the UKNSCN has again contracted Dynamic Events Limited as its event management company.

The conference will be held in the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC) on the University of Nottingham’s campus and up to 520 delegate places are available. There is also be space for up to 40 companies/organisations to exhibit, and for up to 150 posters. Attendance is open to overseas delegates. Registration fees include two nights’ accommodation for those who require it, and this is offered in the surrounding University of Nottingham Halls of Residence all within easy walking distance of the EMCC. Reduced fees apply for UK-based PhD students who present a poster and local/regional delegates who decline the option of accommodation.

Conference Programme
The conference programme is available below. Registration will take place on the morning of Monday 12 July, with plenary proceedings commencing at lunchtime and continuing until 1710hrs on Wednesday 14 July. The programme features the third Dame Anne McLaren Memorial Lecture, which will be delivered by Professor Fiona Watt of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research in Cambridge, UK, and will again include keynote presentations from leading UK and international speakers. There will also be 8 parallel workshops on days 2 and 3 which you can sign-up for during online registration.

Conference Dinner
An optional conference dinner is being held on the second evening (13 July) at Kelham Hall, near Newark. This will conclude with an after-dinner speech delivered by Professor Sir John Gurdon FRS.
