The UKNSCN's fourth annual stem cell science conference was held in York from 30 March - 1 April. The conference was a great success, with around 450 delegates in attendance, and 38 companies/organisations participating in the sold-out trade exhibition held alongside the plenary programme.
The UKNSCN gratefully acknowledges the sponsorship provided by the four companies/organisations displayed above, along with the two parallel workshop sponsors. A number of evaluation forms have already been submitted by delegates with some excellent ideas for improving the conference and exhibition. If you attended the conference and have yet to submit an evaluation form, please do so by posting your completed form to the UKNSCN's Assistant Programme Manager at the address quoted in the Contact Us page. Your feedback and ideas for future conferences are very important to the Network.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner was held on the evening of the second day (31 March), and as usual included an eminent after-dinner speaker, Professor Geoff Raisman FRS. Previous after-dinner speakers have included Professor Sir John Gurdon FRS (2010), Professor Sir Richard Gardner FRS (2009) and Professor Sir Martin Evans FRS (2008).
