UK National Stem Cell Network announces second annual scientific conference for 2009 in Oxford
The UKNSCN has today announced that its second annual scientific conference will take place in Oxford from 6-8 April 2009. The conference will be held in the magnificent Examination Schools in central Oxford, and registration will include accommodation in the surrounding Oxford colleges. Up to 500 delegates are expected to attend, building upon the successful inaugural UKNSCN conference which took place in Edinburgh in April this year. The programme will feature the second Dame Anne McLaren Memorial Lecture to be delivered by a world-class female stem cell scientist, as well as keynote presentations from leading UK and international researchers. An optional conference dinner will be organised for the evening of 7 April in a memorable venue with an eminent after-dinner speaker. On-line registration for the second annual conference will open in September via the UKNSCN website.
